It's a shame because VALLEY VIEW could be so much better with some training and energy put into it. Yes the selection is plentiful, but it's not memorable in my opinion.Īnd after trying it 3 times, all at different times of the day, I have not heard anybody walk out saying WOW. The ' Buffet ' that they advertise heavily, is just average. Maybe it's the atmosphere, Maybe it's the type of gambler they draw.
Maybe they are spread to thin and can't deliver the service they should. It amazes me that while gaming, the drink servers do not get tipped as often as I would expect. Low stucco looking ceilings give it a older feeling. In fact it's almost feels like a series of rooms have put together forĪ ' game night ' at some convention center. The interior of the Casino is boring and lacks a real ' Vegas ' feeling. No employees have ever been rude, but you can feel that UGHHH feeling everywhere. Overall every employee inside the Casino I have had interaction with, act like they would rather be somewhere else. Kristina was very hospitable and energized to help make our check in experience welcomed. I was there on August 15th we had booked a room, everything was very nice especially the hotel receptionist Kristina was so wonderful during check in. The buffet and the live entertainment are great. In San Diego County there are a number of choices in Hotel / Casinos with food venues.Īfter three trips to Valley View, I will pass on going back. I visit Valley View casino quite often, always have a great time.
